SHOULD I ACCEPT THIS TRADE? BARRY BONDS AND BRAD PENNY FOR JOSH BECKETT. I WOULD BE REICIEVING BONDS AND PENNY

Might as well, people are using Penny as bait right now, and if you saw how he pitched yesterday, I don’t think he’s going down in the second half, not pitching at Chavez Ravine.

Yes. Having two producing players over one is a good rule of thumb, I would think. Plus, while Bonds is in a slump, he’ll come out of it. The downside is that Beckett looks like he’ll win 20 this year. Overall, I think it’s a good trade. All three were All Stars, by the way.

Best,

I think that Penny usually has a bad second half, and Bonds is in a slump. I wouldn’t accept.

Some questions for you: Do you need more hitting? Because Penny & Beckett are close, so close you might as well stay with Beckett. Also: There are no 2-for-1 trades. Who are you going to cut to make room for Bonds? If it’s someone good, don’t do the deal.

According to my sources, although I have ignored my fantasy team, I saw Josh Beckett have an amazing season. Bonds is just some propaganda usage, and Penny may be good, but I have to say Beckett because he has the Green Monster on his side. So don’t accept the trade.
