Find a location.

Write out a business plan.

Go to a bank and ask for a small business loan.

It’s all about location. Finding the best location where your fast food joint will survive is the key to uh… survival, lol. As long as you have excellent credit and know a little something about the fast food business and advertising you shouldn’t have a problem.

Impossible without franchise; fast food market is saturated.

Try something people want, but there are few places to get it.

Contact the SBA – Small Business Administration. They will send you a packet of info on starting up your own business.

Have you given it a trial run like from your house? Ya know plate lunches for the local business, offices. See how that does then set up a little shed, like a snow cone hut, and fix food out of that.

How about doing fast food at State fairs? Have your business on wheels, do it when you want, and travel to different places. I’m sure the folks that sell those trailers will finance for you. Or you could just do a hotdog stand… those are only a couple thousand or so.

First figure out what you want to sell. Then go win the lottery cause you’re going to need more cash than you can possibly imagine.
Then prepare yourself to lose it all.
Then you are ready to start.

You will need 300k to start up any quality food business in Houston. You will also be required to come up with 30% on your own. Have a business plan.

Remember this, Location, location, location, is key to sucess in houston along with quality of food.
