I would suggest an Econ Major and then an MBA.
Finance just teaches about how to deal with money, accounting etc. An analyst will need to understand why the market is moving in one directions or another which is the primary concern of economics.
An MBA is better than a master in finance because it will provide you with the tools to do more than a masters in finance will do. Primarily it will combine both economics and finance which is ultimately what you will need.
