Check with your State Department, but usually not as long as you pay your taxes.
You can check with your local association of small enterprises. As I recall we do not need. I ran an Internet business several years ago and was told I did not need a license.
Ebay has a very good guideline on its website.
The requirements vary depending on condition. Call the office for an operating license for your church and ask them if you need to run a business license for an online shop. I live in Georgia and in my community, you know.
