J G June 8, 2010 at 10:46 am: If you contact the finance company, they’ll give a settlement figure that you can pay off upon selling the car. How the potential buyer gets the 20,000 to pay you is their problem, but you could always ring your finance company & ask if they’ll provide the purchaser with finance too.
mccoyblues June 8, 2010 at 10:49 am: It’s real simple. The person who wants to buy the car from you goes and gets their own financing. Their lender gives them a check for $20,000. The buyer gives you the check, then you go to your lender and pay off your car loan, your lender issues you the title and you sign it over to the buyer.

At that point you no longer own the car, you’ve paid off your debt, signed the car over to the new owner and you are now free to go find another car and obtain another loan.

This is no joke, try them out and you will have a reason to refer others here to them for their loan, because i am not just a witness but with experience from the God loving loan company Okay..
