No problem, as long as America doesn’t need any oil or consumer goods.

C S Lewis expands on the idea and shows why the non Christian really has no logical alternative but to accept that Jesus is God:

“I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse.

You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. “

Spare us this stupidity. It really is getting old.

Try picking up a history book and look at what happened when theocracies ruled!

Christian theocracies were what the original immigrants to America attempted to escape and your question makes me wonder about the idiocy of the current environment in the USA. Are all Americans educated in Texas?

As long as people are stupid enough to follow organizations created by men, there will always be “us” and “them.” “Us” will always consider themselves better than “them.” The leaders will teach the children of “us” that “we are the good guys and “them” are evil.” So long as people are forced at gunpoint to obey false gods (leaders with the knowledge of good and evil), there will be conflict. God has it figured out but, man will not listen.

Let me get this straight, you want to force the world to believe what you believe or they don’t get help from America. That’s a very christian thing to do. You should have a genuine respect for the spiritual beliefs of others. You cannot force your religion upon others. People would be outraged. The thought of something like that happening makes me sick. I think the world will be fine without the help of America and Jesus. You are a true example of an ignorant American.

No – nor would that make sense. American Christianity is spread much more by our willingness to trade with non-Christian nations than it would by our refusal to trade with such nations.

Look at how capitalism (and U.S. culture) has “invaded” China as their cheap goods invade the U.S. Along with that U.S. cultural invasion goes Christianity – and China has seen a huge increase – percentage-wise – in the number of Christians over the last 30 years. They may never be majority Christian – at least, not before Jesus’ return – but Christianity will continue to grow in China as our cultural influence grows there. If we were to re-erect “the Bamboo Curtain”, that would not happen.
