My father owns the tiny travel commercial operation (very identical to what taxis do), as well as we have been regularly seeking for great ways to low or openly advertise. I do his commercial operation cards, flyers, as well as alternative items. But it seems which zero beats the couple of great listings. Phone books, however, have been so extremely expensive. And I was wondering if any one could suggest a little sites upon which I could post listings / ads for his business. Cheap would be fine. But as everybody knows, zero beats giveaway stuff. So have been there any such sites charity giveaway commercial operation listings / ads which we would recommend?

A mere search in google wil help you .. thought with the free stuff there may be some pros and cons. i had the same problem when i tried the same with my company which is a sub -broking company with help of reliance money online trading..

gohuman.com : especially good if you want to target a market in a particular zip code area
Craigslist : good to target a city – but your advertisements have to be renewed regularly and there is a lot of spam on the site. Your advertisement only appears on the top until the next person places a listing, causing yours to drop down the page.
classifieds.org
sell.com : mostly paid advertising, some free available
oodle.com : looks pretty good, but I haven’t tried it
backpage.com : I’ve been told this is good, so it’s worth a look

The first one, http://www.gohuman.com is really good because you can link your listing both to a category and a zipcode — so it gets targeted at the particular area you want it to be seen. You can also get current customers and friends to give you an endorsement on the site to make potential customers a bit more comfortable with you because you then have a reputation.
