HOW TO START A SELF-EMPLOYED BUSINESS IN ILLINOIS WHILE WORKING A FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT?

Hi there, first, my impending commercial operation is not associated to my full time job. And this would be my initial time to begin the business, as well as I do not know where to start. Well, the short answer is you just start doing whatever it is that your business is in the business of doing. If your talking from a registration standpoint, visit the nearest state tax building (or visit the website) and fill out the paperwork to start a sole proprietorship (you, the individual, are the business). That’s the easiest way to start a business, though it places all liability on you. An LLC or corporation (your business becomes a separate entity), both having quite a bit more complex registration process, will protect you and your personal belongings from lawsuits etc. That you are currently working has no influence on the process (registration-wise) of starting a business.
