DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BUSINESS LICENSE TO PUT CANDY MACHINES IN DIFFERENT BUSINESSES?

I wish to begin the commercial operation by putting sweets machines in opposite businesses. I was only wondering do I need a little kind of commercial operation permit to do this. Also if it’s any assistance I wish to do this in Texas.

yes….go to your local city hall and find the info…they will tell you what you need to do, and what regulations you need to abide by. You might also check on insurance…”i.e. who pays for machines if vandalized”…talk to your insurance agent.

I don’t know about texas but in Oklahoma you go to the court house. Call before you head down there!

Safe answer- yes. My friend recently placed gumball machines throughout his building. It’s great if you have high traffic areas, since gumballs are so cheap and you profit off of doing something so simple. Check out the New Licenses part of the state’s website- it’s under vending. Also, check out some bulk candy websites (like http://www.gumball.com/bulk_gumballs.aspx) websites and see if you can afford to do it before you pay any licensing fees.

Hope this helps!
