SHOULD I TRADE GARY SHEFFIELD FOR ARAMIS RAMIREZ AND MARK TEIXERA?

I have Chipper Jones during 3b as well as Derrek Lee during 1b. My OF slots I have Griffey, Bonds, Soriano, Byrnes as well as Cuddyer during 1b/OF.

I could additionally get Jeff Francoeur by throwing in Justin Germano, Yovani Gallardo, or Ian Snell.

U can afford to get rid of Sheffield with that stable of outfielders but u really don’t need Teixeira and A-Ram… Either ask for another position plyr (maybe a pitcher) or accept the offer as is and then make an offer with these same plyrs, 2 another owner, who has someone u want.

I’m liking that trade. Chipper is not a great option at 3rd not to mention he gets injured a ton. Aramis is just coming back (homered today) and is generally a strong 2nd half guy. Also when Tex comes back he should be able to help you. Getting Francouer would also be great as neither Germano, Gallardo or Snell are anywhere near as good as him. I’d probably trade Germano as he’s got the least upside of any of the 3. However, with a surplus of 1B/OF I’d look to deal another one after the deal, at least when Tex comes back.

I like it, because Chip’s always injured so its good to have insurance at 3B. who is ur Util? and if i were u i’d throw in Germano (because he gets no K’s) or Gallardo (because he’s unproven) to get francour. don’t throw in snell, because he’s tearing it up this year.

I wouldn’t do that trade. It is good but it might not really help you.

You already have Jones at 3rd and Lee at first. Where would you put them besides Util?

You have a good OF so you could trade him though. You should trade him for your needs instead of a 3B and 1B because you have good players there.

You could possibly get 3 players and upgrade your weaknesses tremendously if you trade Sheffield.
