I have worked for this pharmacy for dual years as an unofficial pharmacy technician. I have my undergrad grade in commercial operation administration department (major in accounting), as well as I will have my MBA in May 09. I know which I do not have the healing credentials for the pursuit per se, though I consider carrying the commercial operation credentials could be an item for this pursuit as well as the company. The on all sides includes communicating with nurses from opposite nursing homes as well as verifying which the annals for patients matches those of the nursing homes. So I was wondering with my background, what can I contend or do or know which would assistance me to get this on all sides over everybody else which practical for it? The foe is common during best, so I figure any submit from any one would be helpful. Thanks in allege everyone.

well, all you need to do is play up to the fact that although your not technically qualified to do the job, you have valuable experience in the feild that a recently qualified person may not have!
Good luck!
You don’t always need a medical background. I landed my first job in a hospital in the Admitting Dept. fresh out of high school. A few years later I got recruited to a Medical Records department at a different hospital and I had no experience in that area. I have also worked in a nursing home and was taught to do ICD-9 coding. Still no formal schooling.
I am sure that you have picked up some medical terminology while working as a pharmacy teach. As well as the all important skill of being able do decipher a doctors handwriting.
Having an eye for detail is important. Respecting patient confidentiality is also important.
Best wishes to you.
