I GET:
Carl Crawford (TB – LF)
Eric Byrnes (Ari – LF,CF,RF)
Troy Glaus (Tor – 3B,SS)
I GIVE UP:
Freddy Sánchez (Pit – 2B,3B,SS)
Matt Holliday (Col – LF)
Andruw Jones (Atl- CF)
My stream diseased spots have been SS as well as 2B. I have Bonds, Duncan, Sosa, Holliday, as well as A. Jones in my outfield now.
I have F. Sanchez as well as C. Figgins in my infield now.
I dont consider Sanchez is starting to put up tighten to final year’s numbers as well as I could unequivocally use an ascent during SS…

Well you are giving up a lot for just one position. You are basically trading 3 All Stars for 1 All – Star, a never was, and a has been who is on the DL. I would not make the trade. There has got to be someone one the waiver wire you would want at 2b or SS. Theirot with the Cubs maybe?
I wouldn’t do it. Although you’d be getting an upgrade at SS, it’s not worth the price you’re paying. Holliday and Jones are both elite outfielders, and if you take out the mediocre players in the deal, you’re be giving up 2 good players for 1 (Crawford).
God no, your giving up to much. Jones is a 30-30+guy ,Holliday should get around 35-40HRs and 100RBIs.Plus Glaus is going to be on and off the DL all season.
i agree with all of them. definately dont do it.
You should absolutely do that trade. Carl Crawford is a perfect 5 tool player that will easily net you 20 HRs, especially this year, and 40+ SBs not to mention runs, hits and a few RBI’s in their too. Byrnes will be a 20/20 player as well and Glaus will help make up for your loss of Andruw Jones in RBIs and HRs.
Its tough losing Holliday, but essentially look at like this: Crawford for Holliday (great deal)
Glaus for Jones (relatively even)
Freddy for Eric Byrnes (great deal)
Sanchez won’t have the year he had last, Jones will bring a low BA, lots of strike outs and while Glaus will likely do this too, thus far Glaus is playing better than Jones, despite the injury….plus Carl Crawford!? the 6th overall player in O-Rank on yahoo? Do this trade.
i don’t think u should do this only because u lose jones and losing him and getting nothing in return is a bust. i would call glaus nothing in return cuz he is not a jones type players so, if ur looking to upgrade ur ss look in the free agent list cuz u can get gonzales from the reds he is hot ride him until u get decent offers for jones and sit on freddy for another two weeks see if he gets hot he hits third and those fantasy players are hard to come by…. u keep jones , sosa u can trade holliday, and bonds for a up grade. don’t trade jones unless u can get a superstar in return. he is in hes last year in contract so he will put up good numbers be patient its a long season…
This a bad trade for you. Crawford’s steals and Glaus’s power potential are great but you kill your batting average. From my experience, its batting average that often separates you from the rest. Usually there are only 2 or 3 guys hitting over .280 by the end of the season. I think your better off trying to trade Andrew Jones for BJ Upton (2nd base) and another player that upgrades you at another position. Or better yet trade Jones for Jimmy Rollins for short and then pick up Jose Lopez from waivers for 2nd. Lopez was on the all-star team last season for Seattle and most leagues I been in, he has been on waivers.
do it…carl crawford will make up for what you’ll lose…and like you said glaus is certainly an upgrade from Sanchez
