SHOULD I TRADE A-ROD? AM I GETTING ENOUGH VALUE?

In my 12-team, 5×5 roto league, I’ve only perceived the following proposal:
I give up A-Rod, J.J. Hardy, as good as Sergio Mitre

for

Brian Roberts, Jimmy Rollins, Johan Santana, as good as Tim Wakefield.
I would dump Wakefield if I accepted.

I’m you do good in many energy catagories as good as all pitching catagories. Obviously carrying the Johan for Mitre barter would indurate which to the little extent, I’m only not certain if it’s value giving up the energy in Hardy/A-Rod. The dual catagories where I have the many belligerent to have up have been SB as good as AVG, where I lay during 5 pts. as good as 1 pt., respectively. All my pitching catagories have been 10.5 pts. or higher. I am now in 2nd place, 5.5 behind of the leader.
My group as it stands now:
C: McCann
1B: Teixiera
2B: Sanchez (may dump if I can’t dump Wake)
3B:A-Rod
SS: Hardy
OF: A. Jones
OF: Bonds
OF: Pence
UTIL: Braun
BN: Peralta
BN: B. Hall
BN: Victorino

SP’s: Smoltz, R. Hill, Snell, Lincecum, Mitre
RP’s: Hoffman, Fuentes, Putz, Accardo
Damn… forgot I couldn’t ask the subject but Bigpimpin responding. Thanks for not blowin me up… Bonds is cool, do not be concerned ’bout him.

No, A-Rod is goin to have 60 home runs, he’s to valuble to trade.

I don’t think you should do this deal. I know you’re probably well ahead in the power categories, but in trading away these guys you’d be losing almost half of the homeruns your team has hit already (15 + 19 out of 72 total), and this early in the season, you just might lose your lead here. Also, the guys you’re trading for have almost no power now: Roberts has 2 HR, and while Rollins has 9 HR, he did not hit one in the entire month of May, showing that he’s cooled off.

For SB and AVG, I would highly consider starting Victorino over Andruw Jones. WIth AROD and Hardy, you don’t really need his power, and he hasn’t done that great this year (8 HR, 2 SB, .229 AVG). Victorino (3 HR, 16 SB, .271 AVG) has stolen 9 bases in the last month, which should help you make up some of the difference.

Good luck…
