If you have decent credit get a low interest card and use that for start up. Be sure to develope a solid business plan in writing, use some of the software available for this.
Borrow from friends or relatives. It sounds like the overhead may be low due to home based–this is good.
Offer to do some voluteer design work for charities etc, to get exposure- and build your resume.
