I suggest placing a decent starting bid and high “buy it now” price.
Take good pictures of the items, be detailed on explanations of the clothes.
You would need to calculate weight for postage, try ups.com
Always charge a little extra for postage, because you want to be sure you don’t lose money.
I would just sell it describing it as a large lot of gently used baby clothes 0-9 months.
Be careful, don’t start your bid too low!!!! And offer a buy it now price of what you want to get out of the clothes.
When you start selling stuff and on there where it has about shipping, you can choose calculate, ebay does for you. Then you can choose how heavy is your product. When I sell things on ebay, a baby t-shirt is less then 1 pound and its about 1.55 or less for shipping. You have to measure your products and ebay can help you with it when start selling list.
when you end your auction is important too… i would suggest on a weekend evening… also, set postage a lil higher than you expect. with a bunch of baby clothes, it’s probably a good idea to bunch a lot of it together – it’ll save you on the listing fees, the shipping, and the hassle… for more tips on eBay, check out sites like http://collegesoup.net/saving-money/10-essential-tips-for-success
