They’ll keep investing here because the rest of the world is even less safe for investment. USA may have some of the highest corporate taxes, but it also has some of the lowest personal income taxes in the world.
Add to that the security given by stable politics and the ample infrastructure, and you’ll understand why the preservation of a middle class (the buyers) is the most important thing at the moment.
