TIPS FOR SOPHOMORE YEAR?

Don’t have sex

Know who your friends are now. Trust me, I’ll officially be a junior June 28. You can get distracted easily with drama, and they give you a lot more work. Not as much as junior year work I hear, but a lot of work. Its easy to lose yourself, get out of shape, cry, even, b/c you’ll be so fed up.

Tell your friend to stand strong, tell her that she needs to promise herself that everyday she will do better and avoid bullshit. Again. know who your friends are, b/c the truth comes out sophmore year, tell her to keep on top of her work, b/c it will come back to haunt her. Oh and tell her to pay attention to the teachers, they talk a lot more sophmore year, but its the little stupid things they talk about that end up being on exams. Think a little about college too.

Oh and tell your friend to be true to her, its easy to bend backwards for things.

Sophomore Year for her isn’t going to be much different than Freshman Year, she will just enter a new school year with more experience.

Tips:
1. Learn from mistakes from Freshman Year
2. Start thinking about college, but don’t obsess over it
3. Meet with a college counselor and discuss plans
4. Study for tests
5. Save time for friends, too
6. Don’t be persuaded to have sex by immature, horny boys if your not ready
7. Be yourself (very cliche…. but I had to say it)

hey! well i just finished my sophmore year && it was so different from my freshmen year. i dont mean to ruin your hopes for it, but for me it was just a lot harder. i had really high hopes for being a sophmore but i ended up spending a lot time thinking back to freshmen year, and remembering how things had been much better back then, for example making new friends, drama, && most important of all, making a REAL best friend. sophmore year just wasn’t as fun, my classes were a lot harder, and i started ditching,sneaking alcohol to school, and other things i regret SO much. but overall, i met a lot of new people that i dont regret meeting at all && i had some really good memories=) so my advice to you is to stay focused on school && not get dragged into things you know better than doing[which can end up happening easily] && you should be fine. im kind of scared for my junior year though, since my best friend is moving && things are just going to be soooo different=( oh well lets see how things turn out for both of us…. oh && sorry this is so long lol
