While the fundamentals of sound business practices are the same. Differences that come to mind for certain types of e-businesses are less face to face contact with people, start-up costs can be lower and the business can sometimes be run with fewer people. E-businesses I think require a wider skill set in that not only do you need to know the business you are in, but also the technical skills to create and run a website.
