then make an outline, or if you are trying to get a loan, a business proposal.
how much space will you need,
how many employees and how much supplies you will need,
how much money will all these cost,

Depends on what you mean by “start” do you already have your business idea and want to get it off the ground? or are you searching for an idea.
If the former the first thing I would suggest is to look at whats close to you and have a brainstorming session. What do you like? What are you interested in? What are you good at? Whats in or not in your local area.
Make a list of all these things even if it sound silly at first. It may well be but might just prompt the idea that could make you successful.
Then scribble! Take each idea written down and spend 20 minutes to half an hour to scribble anything that comes into your head.
Let it lie for a day and come back to the same thing again. You can filter down to maybe three basic ideas like this.
