I own the series of stocks, mutual funds, as well as ETFs by Schwab, which I follow upon Schwab’s website. But I’d similar to to get the some-more worldly tool, something which allows me to download cost as well as volume interpretation onto my own computer, so I can beget lots of charts as well as do the bit of technical analysis. I’m really not the day trader, though I’d similar to to do some-more of the “buy as well as reason for the couple of weeks afterwards sell” character of trading. Plus, it would be utilitarian to keep tabs upon my assorted buys as well as sells, so I can simply discriminate how most distinction or detriment I’ve finished upon the since position. I’ve finished things similar to buy 1000 shares of XYZ, afterwards after sell 300 shares of XYZ, afterwards after buy 200 shares of XYZ. Can any one suggest the great program apparatus for this? I do not thoughts profitable for it, if it fits my needs.

Prophet.net is excellent as is eSignal.
Prophet has various levels (including a free level) depending on your needs. I use the highest level there where I can have 100 watchlists, etc. I can save charts, draw, chart styles, desktops. I can click and at an instant, tell what’s moving up or down by vol, price, % change, etc.
In seconds, I can see all the major 9 or 43 sectors and subsectors. In another click, I can see a stock chart in like 8 different timeframes!
Hope that helps!
Schwab has some pretty good charting software. You should already have access to their data feed.
Excel also works, and will import data from lots of different websites.
