HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET FINANCE DEGREE?

I have not prolonged ago got my General Education finished as well as I was meditative about apropos the Finace Major during Cal State Fullerton. I was wondering how prolonged does it take to get an AA as well as how prolonged it would take to get the Bachlors grade in Finance?

Typically it takes 2 years to get an Associates degree and 4 years to get a Bachelors degree. These days it takes many students more than 4 years because they work to pay for school. If you are going to do this, get a 4 year degree instead of a two year one. The four year degree will be an assett in launching a finance career with corporations, for sitting for a Series 7 and becoming a stock broker, for getting into banking, insurance, investment banking, etc. The Associates degree won’t help you much with any of these things. Most employers look at Associates degrees as kind of like “high school plus”.

Truthfully, I would suggest that after you get your bachelors, work for a year or two or three and then do a weekend or online MBA. Then you’ll be ready for the big leagues. The MBA opens up LOTS of doors.

I would encourage you to talk with a guidance counselor at Cal State Fullerton to find out what your nest steps are — go to the source.

Best of success!
