HOW MUCH DOES A SHARE HAVE TO GAIN ( IN DAY TRADING AS WELL AS LONG TERM) TO GET TANGIABLE PROFIT? ?

Eg: I buy 10 shares value Rs 100 (ie1000 invested) deliberation the brokerage as well as the taxes i will compensate when i sell these shares…..what is the breakeven value? ie. if the share is value 102 , so which the sum investment is 1020 wud i get ne distinction out of this transaction?? (considering nett distinction Rs 20- brokerage- tax) is taxation as well as brokerage standardised?

It depends on your brokerage comission and taxes. Taxes will only reduce your profit, they will never give you a loss. You need to make a gain greater than twice the brokerage commission to have any actual gain at the sale (because the commission is applied at the buy and at the sell).
