CAN A NON-PROFIT ORG INVEST IN STOCKS?

Is it legally probable for the non-profit house to open multiform investment accounts as well as traffic stocks/bonds/options, as well as have millions of dollars as well as compensate no taxes upon the profits? Can we name an e.g. of such non-profit group?

Any non-profit that has an endowment will have an Investment Policy and one or more investment accounts.

Harvard and Yale are obvious examples with in-house investment staff and multi-billion dollar accounts.
