what is it? a skatepark? find a patron or a sponsor. or go nonprofit… problem is finding board members with the same agenda for the place.

If the the town really wanted it, they would support it.
It is your assessment that the town/kids need it – evidently the town either doesn’t agree with you or they simply do not prioritize that high enough.
Unfortunately you may lose it unless you can come up with some very creative marketing.
Probably the only investors interested would be the inhabitants of the town itself.
