sure all you have to do is find some farmer that is willing to raise your animals for you — they would furnish the land — feed – water and you would buy the animals and share in the profits and meat in the fall!!!
i am sure this is possible, because around here they have a lot of what we call feed lot’s or feeders, in referance to beef, and the ones i know are profesionaly run, most of the investors buy thier own cattle, and arrange on what it is suppose to be feed and the amount of feed, as for me, the meat is better grain feed than range feed, ask a old time framer and he will pick a calf that he has grain feed, and has been held off to the side or a 4-H’r that they use for shows, that is why i buy beef from a local farmer, and get a better deal vs the local store
