Day traders are people that invest in the stock market for quick profit.

Usually you can lose most if not all of your money in seconds if you dont sell at the right time.

You wont just go from learning nothing about stocks to making a profit in day trading in a matter of weeks perhaps even months unless you really really really read up on everything.

Usually you wont be able to make some profit in day trading unless you trade with large amounts of shares which can vary depending on which stock you buy.

If you still want to do day trading then dont count it as the only source of income because you can lose all your money in seconds

Day Trading is the rapid buying and selling of stocks hoping for a quick profit. It is gambling not investing.

Chances of going broke is most likely. I think the failure rate for day traders is about 90%. Might be higher or lower but it’s the overwhelming majority of them.

Ex-daytrader from long ago. I’m an investor now.

Day traders do exactly that… they trade something (stocks, bonds, options, Forex, futures etc). The trade is open for less than one session or 24 hours (which ever is less).

The vast amount of people that try day trading fail. 95% fail before one year…. most fail in a matter of months. For those that succeed….. the average time to do so is 3-5 years.

Day Trading can be very rewarding…. both financially & emotionally. The key skills, in order of importance are a knowledge of;
Trader psychology (yours & the markets)
Trader money management
Technical Analysis

Read some books. Take 6-12 months before you even open a brokerage account.
