Your Question is unclear.

But Basically, Investing is like hving someone else work for you and give you an income.
Money , invested , should give you a return, as well as keep the capital intact..

I make $60,000 a yeafr, and on top of that, my investments make between $60,000 and $150,000 A year.

I can live on my income, but my investments give me the world.

Effectivity is measured in percentage of return.
I invest $1,000 and in 1 year I get back $1,400-$1,500. My profit is 40%-50% a year. This is a good return!

Good luck!
