Depends how you feel about risk and how long you want to hold the investment.
If you are looking for no risk, take a look at US T-bills / US T-bonds which are short / long term investments respectively.
You should note that lately the yields on these instruments are practically nil.
If you are a risk taker, I would invest the cash into undervalued blue chip stocks that pay dividends; GE for example.
