Is this in a 401K?
If so, be aware that you will pay a 10% penalty and taxes on the distribution.

Most companies have to get your request in writing or at least your signature for this.
Then, they have to settle the funds (sell investments or securities).
Then, someone has to process and mail you a check.
The whole process can take about 60 days..
