Give them behind to your employers. Doesn’t the common citizenry have the right to your labor? Why have been we so greedy? Why do we deposit in 401ks? What do we design to benefit from this? Profit? Shame upon you!
Kevin, do we deposit in the 401k? If so, we have been betting your income which which miserly billion dollar corporations will grow bigger.
LIBERALS, IF YOU ARE AGAINST PROFIT AND GREED, WHY DO YOU CASH YOUR PAYCHECKS?

we are against excessive profit and greed
A man’s gotta do what he’s gotta do.
Are you serious?
I am against people making billions while others starve. I am not against people making enough money to support their family, like I do.
That’s your problem. You are out of touch with the vast majority of mainstream America.
You know, I’m sitting here thinking really hard… and I simply cannot come up with one single memory EVER of any Liberal ever saying, intimating, implying in any way whatsoever that people should not keep their paychecks. Or that “profit” and “greed” are interchangeable words.
I give this question a “-7″ on a scale of 1 to 10.
Greed is not good. Bills have to be paid. Food has to be purchased. The problems come when corporations decide to maximize their profits and use government regulations to protect their activities.
Because I’m truly against false logic.
Everyone has bills to pay.
The problem is when people make more money than they’re worth….which happens a lot.
Im a liberal and Im not against profit. Greed is not a good quality, it creates selfish and self centered people. Greed can drive people to cheat others. I believe in our democratic society and the way the market in this country operates. I love my country!
How would giving a paycheck back to your employer at the same time give it back to the collective citizenry. Most Corporate Employers are fat cats who horde money, it doesnt trickle down to the masses. I cash my check to pay my bills. So far neither my employers or my government are providing me with free food and rent.
Liberals aren’t against greed. They are just against what they see as Republicans and Conservative greed. You never see them complaining about the Kennedys, George Soros’ or cavalcade of overpaid hollywood types. The hypocrisy would be staggering, but I have come to the simple belief that many liberals do not understand the definition of hypocrisy as they are guilty of it constantly. No one has a right to determine what anyone makes in the private sector unless they are a company stockholder or employer.
Even if we’re going to go with your idiotic misunderstanding of liberalism, you’re wrong… you typify us as hating institutions, yes? Then why would we give our checks back to our employers?
I don’t invest in 401k’s because they have a habit of losing value when economies fail. I use my paychecks to eat, buy things I want to buy, and save up for the next catastrophic financial disaster you cons perpetrate on the American public.
Shame on you, my horribly misinformed acquaintance. Shame on you.
That is an illogical argument. It makes absolutely no sense.
I don’t technically cash my paycheck either, use direct deposit.
Excessive profit and greed at the expense of others is the problem.
Another stupid “Liberals…..” question. What do greed and profit have to do with supporting your family, feeding yourself and paying your bills?
Thanks for the points, though….I’ll check back in later to vote on my answer as the best one because you and everybody else will lose interest in this inanity in about five minutes…
Conservatives…Why are you all such morons?
Liberals think everyone else should pay high taxes, but not them. This is their logic.
Who defines what “excessive” is? Liberals? If so, anyone making more than them is greedy, and should spread their wealth to the masses.
You’ll never see a Liberal giving up his paycheck..
I thought all liberals did was sit around collecting welfare and smoking pot.
Now are you conceding that most of us work?
Can’t have it both ways pal.
I’m not against profit. I just think a CEO shouldn’t make 1,000 times what his lowest paid employee does and then claim they can’t afford to give him a raise that year because health care is to expensive.
Why do you think CEO’s and corporate officers who literally do nothing (in some companies) should get paid so much?
The companies ask each employee to give up a week’s salary but when has the bosses give theirs.
