CAN A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION INVEST IN REAL ESTATE?

This is flattering true brazen I think… Would devise to keep the lease inside of the non-profit.

Depends on the nature of the non-profit really. There is no law that directly prevent that, HOWEVER the non-profit might be subject to UBIT taxes. This is a question for a tax professional who knows the EXACT workings and purpose of the non-profit.
